Erin E. Campbell, Ph.D.
Postdoctoral Researcher | Boston University
About
Erin graduated from Towson University in 2018 with a B.A. in speech language pathology, deaf studies, and disability studies. She completed a Ph.D. at Duke University in Cognition and Cognitive Neuroscience in 2023, focusing on how early visual and auditory experience influences children's word learning and language environment. She was awarded an NSF GRFP for this research. Erin wants to better understand how early sensory experience influences language development, and how linguistic experience influences sensory knowledge. She is currently pursuing these questions as a postdoctoral researcher at Boston University. In her free time, she enjoys learning acrobatics, smiling (recreationally), and eating raspberries by the carton.
